Our Assistant Teachers play a vital role in supporting Lead Teachers, ensuring that every child receives the care and guidance they need to thrive.

    Responsibilities:

    Classroom Support & Child Development

    Assist in planning and implementing daily classroom activities.

    Treat each child with dignity and respect, recognizing their unique needs and backgrounds.

    Help children develop problem-solving skills, independence, and self-confidence.

    Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment.

    Support children in activities that promote emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development.

    Classroom Management & Organization

    Supervise the classroom when the Lead Teacher is out of the room.

    Assist with meal preparation, snack distribution, and clean-up.

    Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.

    Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and emergency procedures.

    Communication & Collaboration

    Work closely with the Lead Teacher and administrative staff to maintain a high-quality learning environment.

    Maintain open communication with parents, sharing children's daily milestones.

    Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

    Maintain confidentiality regarding children and their families.

    Qualifications

    Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, sit on the floor & move classroom furniture or equipment as needed.

    Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

    Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification if not already certified.
