    Novastar Kids Co provides private educational service to children ages six weeks to fourteen years. The service includes child care, preschool, kindergarten, elementary through secondary education, summer camps, special events, enrichment classes, and after-school program. The foundation of our service is the continuity of care and education.

    About the Role:

    Join Novastar Kids Co as an ECE Coach and help elevate the quality of our early childhood program. We are seeking a passionate teacher leader and instructional specialist to design and deliver training programs, conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, and support continuous professional development for our teaching staff. In this role, you will build trusting relationships with educators, model best practices in the classroom, and ensure our teachers are fully prepared to deliver exceptional care and education aligned with our STEAM curriculum and whole child approach. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced educator ready to make a broader impact by developing and inspiring others. Note: this position will spend 50/50 at both of our ECE locations: Englewood and Centennial and you will need reliable transportation.

    Responsibilities:

    Training & Development:

    Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing professional development.

    Facilitate group learning sessions on developmentally appropriate practices, STEAM curriculum, classroom management, and child guidance strategies.

    Create and maintain training materials and resources aligned with Novastar's educational philosophy and state licensing requirements.

    Conduct orientation sessions for new teachers covering policies, procedures, curriculum expectations, and classroom routines.

    Stay current on early childhood education research, best practices, and regulatory updates.

    Coaching & Support:

    Conduct regular classroom observations to assess teacher practices and child-teacher interactions.

    Provide individualized coaching, feedback, and support based on observation data and identified growth areas.

    Model effective instructional strategies through demonstration lessons in classrooms.

    Collaborate with teachers to set professional goals and develop action plans for continuous improvement.

    Build trusting, supportive relationships with all staff to foster professional growth.

    Quality & Compliance:

    Support program compliance with state licensing standards, accreditation requirements, and quality rating systems.

    Collaborate with ECE Council during ECERS or ITERS evaluation cycles.

    Identify program-wide professional development needs based on observation and assessment data.

    Maintain accurate records of training attendance, coaching sessions, and teacher progress.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

    3+ years of classroom teaching experience in early childhood education (ages 6 weeks to 6 years).

    Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience preferred.

    Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and current ECE research.

    Experience with Environment Rating Scales (ECERS, ITERS) or other quality assessment tools a plus.

    Familiarity with STEAM curriculum and project-based learning approaches preferred.

    Experience in adult learning theory or instructional coaching methodologies a plus.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with diverse audiences.

    Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

    Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus.

    Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
