The job of the FSS is to provide comprehensive child/family support services to ECEAP children and their families. it is the responsibility of the FSS to:

recruit, select and enroll eligible children and families into the ECEAP preschool program.

provide comprehensive child/family support services.

encourage family involvement and orient families with the program, services and required processes.

provide the required health screenings along with classroom team, help families to establish health services if needed. Help develop health, nutrition, and family support plans to further family goals, plans and success strategies.

plan family meetings and events along with classroom team.

participate in workshops, meetings, community events as required to receive and/or present information. Provides outreach to low income communities and organizations building partnerships.

administer State and Federal Performance Standards to ensure program eligibility and compliance with mandated regulations.

maintain files and records to provide required information.

work together with the classroom team and parents to remove barriers to child's success in school.
