    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Ecommerce Specialist to join our team. As an Ecommerce Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive online sales, improve user experience, and optimize our ecommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, digital marketing tactics, and technical proficiency in managing ecommerce platforms.

    Responsibilities:

    Ecommerce Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to drive online sales growth, increase conversion rates, and enhance the overall ecommerce experience for customers.

    Platform Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, including product listings, pricing, inventory management, and order processing.

    User Experience Optimization: Analyze user behavior and website performance metrics to identify opportunities for improving the user experience and increasing engagement.

    Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, and search engine optimization (SEO) to drive traffic and sales.

    Content Management: Oversee the creation and optimization of product content, including product descriptions, images, and videos, to improve discoverability and enhance the online shopping experience.

    Analytics and Reporting: Monitor ecommerce KPIs, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.

    Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries, issues, and complaints related to the ecommerce platform.

    Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ecommerce, digital marketing, and online retail to maintain a competitive edge.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

    Proven experience working in ecommerce, preferably in a similar role.

    Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms BigCommerce.

    Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and ecommerce management systems.

    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

    Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and tactics.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

    Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.

    Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web development languages.

    Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo).

    Experience working with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
