    If you are an EDDA with a commitment to positive patient experiences and a great attitude, we would love for you to join our team. Our dental practice is growing fast, and we are looking for an experienced EDDA to provide support to our dentist, and highly-quality dental care to our patients.

    Pay will reflect experience . 2+ years EDDA experience is required.

    We are open M-F 7:30am-7:30pm and Saturday 7:30am-1:30pm. Applicant must have a flexible schedule, Ideal candidate would be able to work a combination of both morning and evening shifts (a shift is 6 hours) throughout the week, as well as a couple of Saturdays a month. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Assist the doctor in restorative procedures, composite fillings, crown and bridge, dentures, root canals, placing rubber dams, extractions, taking impressions, taking x-rays, accurate charting, process sterilization, pouring/trimming models.

    Comfortable with all classes of multi-surface fillings, posterior and anterior.

    Focusing on patient Safety and Team Safety as top priority.

    Adhering to OSHA and Infection Control Protocols, and disposing of sharps and clinical waste in prompt and safe manner.

    Taking and understanding digital patient information such as health history, insurance eligibility, treatment plans, pre-authorizations, lab request, procedures, and appointment details.

    Educating patients and parents on the benefit of good oral health.

    Monitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being during the entire visit.

    Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures.

    Ensuring that exam rooms and operatories are cleaned, disinfected, organized, and stocked according to the requires standards at the beginning and end of each patient interaction.

    Charting existing treatment for new patients by updating the patient chart with entries for fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.

    Reviewing the patient chart and health history prior to the doctor arrival and reconfirming the patient's chief concern.

    Taking diagnostic quality x-rays and attaching them to the patient chart.

    Helping the team clean surfaces, sinks, floors and common areas of exam rooms, operatories.

    Perform all other duties assigned.

    Completion of an accredited dental assisting program is required for this role.

    Radiology certification is a must-have credential for this position.

    EDDA/EFDA certification is preferred for applicants.
