Our client, a top American-made Manufacturer & Distributor is seeking an EDI Business Analyst to support JD Edwards Enterprise One initiatives by reviewing and understanding new business objectives and system requirements.
In this role, the EDI Business Analyst will work with trading partners, process owners and end uses to obtain business requirements based on current and future system needs. In addition, the EDI Business Analyst will optimize the exchange of data between the organization using EDI & JDE and maintain an awareness of all business operations.
Responsibilities:
Promote cross-functional coordination through project planning, management and the building of relationships domestically and internationally
Provide updates for business processes, business flow, policies and procedures
Closely work with Information Technology teams and Training teams to accomplish company objectives
Create business requirements documents, functional/technical specs based on business requirements
Work with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to approve or deny departmental change requests
Collaboratively work with other business units to understand their EDI needs and translate them into detailed system requirements and functional specifications
Analyze current business processes and workflows related to EDI and JDE to identify areas for improvement and automation
Coordinate and perform testing with trading partners and value-added networks (VAN’s) to ensure seamless data exchanges
Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with protocols
Act as lead on projects assigned, work with Project Mgmt. to keep project plans updated and current
Lead functional / hands-on training of application end-users and IT staff on ERP application use
Evaluate existing procedures and facilitate productivity-improvement methods with teams
Prioritize and drive resolution of ERP incidents and requests
Communicate effectively with stakeholders the priority and status of incidents, requests, projects and tasks
Responsible for getting Process Owner Sign Off
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master's Degree
5+ years of JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 or higher experience, required
JDE Sales Order Management, Warehouse Management including Inventory Management, Job Costing
Familiar with JDE Financials (A/P, A/R, G/L) Purchasing, Fixed Asset, Budgeting, Inventory, Contract Billing, Epicor and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
2+ years of experience implementing enterprise IT applications, to include defining business processes, and integrating various applications.
Strong working knowledge in working with: (OMW, UX1, UTB, E1 Pages, UDO’s, Orchestrations and BI Publisher)
Ability to SQL database for analysis and design functional specifications of applications
Understanding of J.D. Edwards file structures, programs and reports
Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio
Compensation:
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 140k/year plus a discretionary bonus. Company also offers 401k with a match, and top health benefits.
