About the Role:

Join MedPOINT Management as an EDI Claims Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of electronic claims. Our dynamic team in Sherman Oaks, CA, is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our healthcare partners.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage electronic claims submissions and follow-up on outstanding claims.

Review and analyze claim data for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve claim discrepancies and rejections.

Utilize EDI software to track claims and maintain detailed records.

Communicate with payers to ensure timely payment and resolution of claims issues.

Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to EDI claims.

Provide training and support to staff on EDI processes and procedures.

Generate reports on claims performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in EDI claims processing within the healthcare industry.

Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical billing practices.

Proficient in EDI software and claims management systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma required; associate's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
