Job Description

OVERVIEW: Our client, a logistics company based in Houston, is looking for an IT Integration Specialist to join their team. This individual will act as the SME for all EDI and Integrations to implement company-wide improvements through automated data exchange and delivery with customer, vendors, and data administration. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with trading partners and manage EDI and API integration projects.
• Effectively manage projects through a full project lifecycle process, and effectively support related customer needs.
• Analyzing EDI and data requirements from customers.
• Maintains client implementation standards and timelines by applying project management processes.
• Communicates with customers and internal project teams and management to pass along information regarding project and customer requirements, progress, resources, and resolution.
• Concurrently work on/with multiple projects, multi-level resolutions teams, and customers to help resolve technical issues from the customer's and project team's perspective.
• Monitor and solve daily error reporting though implementation of automated solutions
• Provides support and researches solutions for user issues which cannot be resolved through data entry corrections and tier 1 support

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience with x12 300 series transaction sets and others relating to transportation including 210, 228, 242, etc.
• 2 years working in Freight Forwarding Industry.
• 1 year working with CargoWise or other comparable freight and transportation management ERP.
• Deep understanding of hierarchical data structures.
• Familiarity with API protocols including SOAP, REST and GraphQL
• Previous experience working with VAN's, AS2, sFTP and other communication methods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
