Company Description Dixon Tool and Manufacturing, a division of KRO Industries, is a leading and growing provider of CNC machining services in Rochester, NY.

Role Description EDM Set-up and Operator at Dixon Tool and Manufacturing. Full-time preferred, but will consider part-time employees, this postilion is on-site Monday thru Friday with opportunities for overtime. The EDM Set-up Operator will be responsible for program set up, machine operation, quality control, machining, milling, and working with machinery to produce high-quality parts.

Qualifications

Machine Operation and Machinery handling skills

Experience in Quality Control, Measuring tools, Calipers, Micrometers, and Indicators

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Blue prints, CAD models, etc.

Attention to detail and precision in work

Physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects (Approx. 50lbs) such as a Milling Vise.

Certificate or Diploma in Machining(related field) or equivalent work experience

Effective problem-solving skills and communication

Ability to make adjustments to machine controls to ensure accurate production

Experience and proficiency with EDM, CNC mill, and/or CNC Lathe

Programming abilities preferred but not required
