GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The function will contain data entry, inventory management and customer interaction. It requires a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work requires walking, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires physical lifting and moving of mechanical/electrical parts. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a work/office environment. It may involve frequent contact with the public in person and through phone and email correspondence. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.) - Data entry from multiple sources on a daily basis. - Receive and organize mechanical/electrical parts. - Retrieve parts and kits for engineers. - Update Databases, Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents as required. - Work with development engineering to manage inventory. - Miscellaneous projects as assigned. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to work independently/self-starter. - Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making. - Highly detail oriented with great organization skills. - Knowledge of computer systems, programs and applications. - Skills in written and verbal communication. - Computer skills including Windows, Outlook and ability to use Intranet browsers - Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
