Competitive pay: $24–$29/hour (based on experience, education & classroom assignment)

$2,000 sign-on bonus (FT Certified Teachers)

Full-time, year-round employment

Flexible schedules Mon - Fri between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Shift options: 7–4, 7:30–4:30, 8–5, 8:30–5:30, 9–6)

Your Role as a Teacher

Preschool:

Willingness to follow Goddard's proprietary play-based curriculum rooted inquirty based tactile hands on learning driving curiosity. This includes supporting children to make their own play dough and allowing art to be completed in it's true form.

Ability to adapt teaching materials & lesson plans to serve children of varying needs.

Communication skills allowing for clear communition with parents as well as the ability to facilitate parent teacher conferences with your co-teachers.

Toddler:

Comfortable supporting emerging self help skills including potty training self feeding and safe walking.

Patience and the ability to manage toddler behaviors.

Strong ability to manage 100% electronic daily communication with accuracy

Infants:

Capacity to manage & provide attentive individualized care for multiple children alongside your co-teacher.

Strong attention to health & safety guidelines, licensing regulations (including but not limited to safe sleep practices)

Soft tone & gentle demeanor with both parents & children.

Required Qualifications

EEC Certification (Infant/Toddler and/or Preschool)

Minimum 1 year experience in a licensed childcare center

Meet all MA EEC background check and fingerprinting requirements

Knowledge of child safety and first-aid protocols

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Reliable, team-oriented, and flexible

Physical & Schedule Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working a 9-hour shift between 7 AM–6 PM

Ability to attend monthly staff meetings (typically Tuesdays, 6–8 PM)

Able to respond effectively in emergency situations

Able to hear, see, speak, and move effectively in a childcare environment
