Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Extrusion Operator to join our team at our facility in Monroe, MI. As a Plastic Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the plastic extrusion process.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Extrusion Machine
• Use Calipers and Micrometers to ensure precise measurements
• Inspect finished products using Measurement Gauges
• Operate Sliding Table Saw and Manual Grinder for finishing tasks
• Cut parts to finish lengths using automatic cutters and all production saws.
• Grind and/or deburr parts.
• Drill and/or counter-bore on drill press.
• Monitor quality of the product and document nonconformances.
• Package product for shipment in accordance with specifications.

- Properly count and label finished goods.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

• Experience operating Injection Molding Machine and Extrusion Machine
• Proficiency in using Calipers and Micrometers for measurements
• Familiarity with Sliding Table Saw and Manual Grinder
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
