Our client has an extensive background in logistical, creative, and production design. They have been involved in numerous capacities in the live entertainment and experiential marketing industries. They provide a turn-key solution for specific client needs, offering tailored services in creative design, advanced video, fabrication, engineering, projection mapping, interactive technology, custom media servers, content design, lighting, and audio.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the fabrication and assembly of experiential event activations, engineered structures, products, and interactive installations
- Reviewing, and revising CAD drawings (in addition to Solidworks and Rhino if candidate has the ability)
- Correspond with vendors on quoting, samples, timing, testing, and production
- Provide guidance/oversight on material choices, fabrication methodologies, and code compliance
- Review and approve technical drawings with senior management and clients
- Evaluate the function, safety, and appearance of fabricated elements to ensure they meet customer requirements, design intent, and quality standards
- Maintain a high level of detail while working with deadlines, time pressures, and changing priorities
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in project management and/or production
- Familiarity reading and reviewing CAD software. Experience SolidWorks and Rhino a plus but not required. Ability to draw in these programs a huge plus.
- Experience managing projects utilizing multiple materials required (metal, wood, plastic, foam, etc.)
- Experience managing projects utilizing diverse hands on fabrication techniques required (machining, waterjet, laser, CNC router, etc.)
- Experience in the scenic fabrication industry within the entertainment or event industry preferred
- Self-motivated team player with strong desire to learn
- Experience in a fast paced environment required
- Experience in lighting and electrical highly desired
