  • Responsibilities

    Our client designs and builds custom trade show exhibits, branded environments, and corporate events.

    The Project Manager is responsible for directing exhibit projects through production and ensuring project is completed on time according to quality standards, budget and client requirements.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Review prospective projects and estimates with account executives prior to proposal submission to determine feasibility
    • Lead pre-construction meeting to verify expectations
    • Develop project schedules
    • Ensure that the proper addendums are issued and submit in-progress change orders to the account team
    • Purchase job materials, process purchase orders and prepare relevant documentation
    • Review individual client jobs to determine the actual costs throughout the duration of the project. Gather all appropriate documents to support costs
    • Track hours and costs vs estimated and notify EVP, Operational Development and account teams when we are not going to hit the goals set
    • Review invoices for accuracy as needed
    • Follow up on returns and completion of relevant paperwork
    • Address any questions (new build construction, lead times, use of materials, etc.)
    • Attend final client viewing to respond to any issues that may develop prior to packing and shipping
    • Lead post-show construction meeting
    • Communicate any change orders to the projection team on all projects and ensure all changes have been noted on prints and any other necessary documents.
    • Verify packing lists are accurate and complete prior to shipping
    • Provide information to billing as needed regarding job changes and status.

    Attributes Required:

    • Knowledge of the exhibit industry including, but not limited to, Cabinet construction, materials and design along with a strong understanding of fabric and frame construction.

    Software Skills Required: Requires proficiency: Microsoft Windows Office Programs (Word/Excel/Outlook)

    Desired Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Associates degree in architecture or engineering, preferred and 5-7 years of experience in industry related job responsibilities.
