    We are searching for an experienced Sr 3D Designer to join their office in Irvine, CA.

    Provide creative solutions for meeting client needs and objectives using exhibits and exhibit-related projects as a sales and marketing tool. Be involved with projects from beginning-to-end based on ability to understand sales process, production operation and value of product.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. The duties and responsibilities as outlined in this Job Description may be changed from time to time by the Corporation, as it deems necessary, without further notice to the Employee.

    • Communicates effectively with design/account staff to establish client objectives.

    • Produces and presents 3D studio models, design renderings, floor plans.

    • Interprets ideas and design concepts for internal/client communications.

    • Produces work in a timely manner and meets tight deadlines.

    • Attends preliminary design and job launch meetings.

    • Stays fluent in current design trends, materials and presentation techniques.

    • Assumes responsibility for effectiveness, creativity and cost-efficiency of design.

    • Maintains an organized and clean working environment.

    • Assists with IT maintenance/upgrades where necessary.

    • Collaborates with design teams and other locations within the organization.

    • Provides detailed and accurate 3d files in required format for production.

    • Reports regular project updates and notifies potential problems to the Design Manager and/or Creative Director.

    • Interpret client requirements and provide creative design solutions within budgetary constraints and exhibit hall physical limitations.

    • Exercise team leader autonomy over projects and assume responsibility for effectiveness, creativity and cost-efficiency of design.

    • Become vital part of sales process from information pick-up through sales presentation.

    • Communicate effectively with sales staff, project management teams and client.

    • Produce design renderings, floor plans, corporate identities, interactives, websites and/ or models.

    • Supports the creative teams.

    • Provide design solutions in conjunction with the creative management and production department and the creative services department to meet budgetary considerations.

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.F.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, proposals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a language readily understood by all parties involved.

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of AutoDesk 3D Studio MAX, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign (optional), Adobe Flash (optional) Design software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
