We have flexible schedules, which include: *Afternoons/Evenings *Weekends *Working 1x1 or in a Community Residential Setting (Group Home) *Earning up to $1000 in hiring bonus! We're looking for candidates who: *Are calm, personable and friendly *Are empathetic and caring *Are able to follow through on assigned tasks *Are able to articulate effectively in written and verbal form *Are able to proactively solve problems and respond professionally to change *Are looking for stable employment As a Direct Support Professional at EGH, you will: *Earn among the best wages in the disabilties field *Accrue Paid Time Off after ninety days, based on the amount of hours you work *Be valued as an essential part of a team and community *Work for a small non-profit agency whose focus is always on what is important to and important for the people we serve *Be a part of a group of people willing to lift each other up, spiritually, emotionally, and professionally *Earn starting wages of $15.75-$16.75 per hour *Serve individuals in a Community Residential Setting (Group Home), or in individuals' own home Typical responsibilities include: *Assistance with activities of daily living, such as cooking, cleaning, and balancing a personal budget *Outings in the community for medical or recreational purposes *Providing companionship *Documentation of services and progress *Communication with peers, families, doctors, case managers, or anyone involved in the lives of the people you serve REQUIREMENTS: A valid MN driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Successfully pass a background check and driving record check Complete medication certification, CPR, First Aid and other training as assigned Strong English communication and ability to use computer for daily documentation.
