As part of our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team in Colton, California, you’ll play a key role in protecting our people, our environment, and our communities. _ Reporting into the Health and Safety Manager:_
You will support the EHS Manager and the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team to promote a strong safety culture across all AIM sites.
You will conduct regular yard and facility inspections to identify hazards, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
You are proactive in monitoring and reporting on environmental, health, and safety performance metrics to help drive continuous improvement.
You will help roll out company-wide safety initiatives, programs, and training that empower employees to work safely every day.
You will maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, incident reports, and certification files.
You will gather and organize monthly safety reports and documentation from AIM yards to support compliance and consistency.
You are responsible for ordering, stocking, and distributing PPE and safety supplies to all operational sites.
You will assist with data entry, analysis, and reporting within AIM’s safety management systems.
You will contribute to waste management, recycling initiatives, and environmental reporting, supporting AIM’s commitment to sustainability.
You will assist in incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and help implement corrective actions.
You will take part in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and PPE compliance.
You are a key resource for the EHS Manager, General Manager, and Operations team, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient yard operations.
You will provide support to EHS and Logistics departments as needed.
You will take on other duties as assigned to help AIM achieve its mission of safety, responsibility, and operational excellence.
You will travel between sites 40-60% of the time.
