We have a Test/Respool position available on 2nd shift. The duties and responsibilities include testing wire and cable before shipping, respool wire as needed, barrel packing, striping wire, stripping wire and other related duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Follow standard work instructions
• Use all testing equipment accurately to ensure quality of the final product before shipping to customers
• Complete paperwork and enter transactions into computer system
• Train in Lean methods and participate in team projects to help reduce through-put time and increase productivity
• May be required to evaluate work center issues with materials, machines, and workloads and report current status to supervisors.
• Stack boxes/reels on pallets
• Keep test and respool areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety and housekeeping policies
• Understand and adhere to Kanban scheduling system

Requirements:

• Pass a color identification test.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift 50 lb. with assistance
• The job requires standing and/or walking for long periods of time
• Reliable attendance
• Position may have some required overtime

Schedule:

• Full-time - 40+ hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Pay rate based on experience
