Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop rubber or plastic compounds for various applications

Document formulas and chemical equivalents accurately

Establish test protocols to ensure product compliance with industry standards

Provide technical support to production teams

Analyze rubber and plastic samples for compliance with specifications

Troubleshoot and identify issues in rubber and plastic compounds

Interpret test data and analyze failures

Create technical reports based on experimental findings

Collaborate on laboratory improvements and process enhancements

Interact with customers and vendors to address technical inquiries

Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science

Proficiency in manufacturing-related statistics

Advanced lab equipment and MS Office skills

Familiarity with industry standards for rubber manufacturing

5-10 years of experience in rubber mixing/manufacturing

Compounding experience for various polymer families

Familiarity with thermoset elastomer mixing techniques

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $90-$105K DOE
