We are seeking a qualified Shipping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in shipping and logistics. Proficiency in handling shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate and oversee the shipping process, ensuring timely and accurate shipments of products to customers.
Manage relationships with shipping carriers, including UPS, FedEx, and DHL, to optimize shipping operations and costs.
Ensure proper packaging of products for safe and secure transit, adhering to industry standards.
Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and customs documentation as required.
Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain accurate records of stock levels and assist in the periodic physical inventory counts.
Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software is a plus. Experience in utilizing such software to streamline shipping processes and maintain accurate inventory records is advantageous.
Communicate with various departments, including manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to ensure a smooth flow of information related to shipping activities.
Address and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, and discrepancies, promptly and efficiently.
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in handling shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Knowledge of MRP software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Work Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
