About the Role:

Join Barrett School LLC as an ELA HS Lead Teacher in beautiful Destin, FL! We are seeking a passionate educator to inspire high school students through engaging English Language Arts instruction and foster a love for literature and writing.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with state standards.

Facilitate engaging classroom discussions to enhance critical thinking skills.

Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.

Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning environment.

Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.

Support students' individual learning needs and promote a positive classroom culture.

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in educational practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; Master's preferred.

Valid teaching certification for high school English Language Arts.

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a high school setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and staff.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Proficient in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
