    DUTIES:
    Provide engineering services on assigned SRMC Engineering Teams. Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walkdowns, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: Single Line Drawings; Electrical Equipment Lists; Control System Design; Electrical Equipment Specifications; Bulk Material Specifications; Circuit/Raceway/Wiring/Connection Design; Grounding; Heat Tracing; Fire Detection.

    Engineering services will be provided using SRMC processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRMC.
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Education:
    BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
    Experience/Skills:
    Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of NEC code requirements. Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) will be preferred. Candidate must have the ability to walkdown systems in the field.

    The candidate will also be expected to provide engineering services to assigned SRMC Engineering Teams which include engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents in the following areas:

    • 480 Volt Power distribution system design including Circuit protection, Analysis, and Coordination
    • Develop Single Line, Schematic and wiring diagrams
    • Equipment layout and Raceway design
    • Electrical Equipment specifications and Procurement
    • Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for electrical design such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA

    Work Environment / Physical Demands:

    Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Light to moderate lifting may be required for packages and other items, ability to walk short distances, may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
