FULL TIME FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ($25 Per Hour Based On Experience)

We are a commercial facility services company based in Wilmington, Delaware (servicing the Northeast region) that is looking to hire a FULL TIME Facility Technician to work (5) days per week, Monday thru Friday for 8 hours each day in Philadelphia and Greater Philadelphia area.

NOTE: Some evening and weekend work may be required for emergency work.

The selected candidate shall be able to handle small repairs for the assigned buildings. This position is full time 5 days a week for 8 hours each day Monday through Friday and after hours support for emergencies.

The daily responsibilities for the buildings assigned include but not limited to:

o Responsible for handyman type repairs for commercial buildings

o Perform weekly quality control for facility related issues/deficiencies

o Identify pro-actively safety issues related to the site/buildings

o Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets by using multiple craft skills(ex. Plumbing, electrical, carpentry) and using hand tools, power tools and other equipment as needed to complete tasks

o Manage work order management platform

o Responsible handling all daily work orders and providing prompt responses on status. This will require a documentation of the repair activities and closeout of work orders.

o Perform miscellaneous facility services as directed

· Key Skills and Experience

o Previous experience in facility management repairs

o Able to communicate effectively

o Able to multitask

o Able to troubleshoot with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

o Basic level knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing

o Safety champion, able to work alone

o Ability to climb and work at heights

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must Be Able To Lift 20+ pounds Regularly Every Day, Bend, Stretch, Stand For Extended Periods Of Time, Climb Stairs, Climb A Ladder, Reach, Twist, Sit, Walk and squat.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Must Have Valid Driver’s License

*Minimum Of (3 to 5) Years Of Experience Is Required. *Organization Skills Are a Must

*Company Vehicle and Company Gas Card Will Be Provided During Work Hours. Tools and materials also provided.
