Job Description

ELLKAY LLC is looking for a GRAPHIC DESIGNER to work within our Marketing Team to develop, design and create new marketing concepts and campaigns, produce 2-3 min animations, product videos, Infographics, layouts for print material and digital content. 

This position requires problem solving and creative thinking skills to understand healthcare IT products, generate fresh ideas and be able to work in a variety of styles to express the desired message for the company brand. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS INCLUDE:

• Produce Storyboards and communicate ideas effectively
• Create 2-3 minute Animations, product videos
• Large Scale print work for Trade Show Booth Graphics
• Produce and adapt graphics for Flash Applications
• Produce graphics for Marketing Materials including: print and web advertisements, email banners, email blasts, brochures, mugs, pens, holiday cards, comics, folders, promotional items
• Maintain brand image
• Design new logos/icons/images as ELLKAY’s range of products increase
• UI Design and basic web layout/design
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Stay up-to-date with trends in design and continuously produce fresh graphics while maintaining the ELLKAY brand identity

Qualifications

EXCELLENT SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED IN: 

• Drawing/sketching
• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• Flash
• Adobe InDesign

INTERMEDIATE SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED IN: 

• AfterEffects
• Premiere

DESIRED: 

CSS, HTML, Javascript, related scripting knowledge

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Flexible to changes and multiple revisions/iterations
• Work with multiple experts in a growing and changing industry to better convey to clients’ technical information in an engaging way
• Handles feedback, constructive criticism and rejection well
• Strong eye for aesthetics, details, visual composition
• Background in healthcare or technology graphic design is desirable
• Expectation to maintain external relationships with printers / tradeshow booth graphics team, etc.
• Excellent print/verbal communication skills
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
• Self-starter with effective time management skills and the ability to juggle various assignments to meet adjacent deadlines
• Knowledge of layouts, typography, color theory, graphic fundamentals, print, and web

EXPERIENCE: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of graphic design experience
