    THE ROLE

    As the Financial Advisor/Registered Representative, you will have an opportunity to earn a salary and bonus, while you build your own book of business as a Financial Professional. In this role you will develop, direct, implement, and maintain a portfolio of employer sponsored plan sponsors and participants. Your guidance will help turn participants into clients, and help the firm achieve sales, growth, profitability, retention, and market share goals. You will build, enhance, and direct relationships to ensure overall service needs are met and high satisfaction levels are achieved. You will serve as a subject-matter expert to our clients regarding their retirement plan, deliver plan education and seminars, help participants with annual reviews, enrollments, service requests, life event and financial planning needs.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

    • Builds, enhances, and maintains effective relationships with a diverse group of plan participants to ensure a high-level of client satisfaction, retention, and turn participants into long-term clients.
    • Identifies & resolves client issues/concerns in a timely manner, owning outcomes through completion.
    • Consults with Senior Advisors on relationship management, sales, participant engagement, and other solutions to optimize client satisfaction and achieve desired business results.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert on assigned plans pertaining to administration details and goals.

    PLANNING AND SERVICE

    • Prepare for and conduct account reviews, insurance review and audits, investment strategy (as directed by wealth managers) and join CFP®s during the financial planning process.
    • Conduct investment and insurance related research for plan participants.
    • Prepare investment related requests for proposals and contracts.
    • Follow-up to provide promised services and activities resulting from client meeting.
    • Educate plan participants on various aspects of their retirement plan and the planning process.
    • Serve clients with the highest integrity and professionalism, as well as maintain a strong commitment to provide quality service.
    • Increase plan participation and contributions for assigned plans. Supports retention efforts and looks for enhancement opportunities that will best serve our clients.
    • Support participants and clients through various service issues.
    • Support participants and clients through various life events, helping them achieve their goals leveraging various investment and insurance products.
    • Conduct proactive outreach and communicate with clients and participants on a frequent basis, but at minimum as outline in the (ELSVWM) Service model.
    • Conduct educational, investment management, and planning seminars and workshops for participants and clients.
    • Meets or exceeds all department and/or sales goals/targets for his/her assigned plans, participants, and clients.
    • Resolve transaction discrepancies to assure prompt settlement.

    REQUIREMENTS

    This position has the following requirements:

    · 2 + years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position

    • Comprehensive investment and insurance knowledge with a belief in the importance and value of financial planning
    • 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (6 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s)
    • Ability to travel 50% of the time (flexible remote/home office or in-office for other 50%)
    • A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
    • Series 6 or 7, plus 63 or 65/66 (65/66 preferred) registered
    • Life/Health Insurance License
    • Hold or quickly acquire an advanced level of knowledge utilizing the (ELSVWM) investment management and planning software

    COMPENSATION AND OPPORTUNITY

    (ELSVWM) offers a competitive salary and bonus structure, while also providing an opportunity to build your own book of business [and earn fees and commissions].
