About This Role: The Inside Sales / Customer Service is a dual, yet key role at ELSCO. Customer Service acts as a liaison between our customers and the manufacturers we represent, while Inside Sales acts as an extension of our National Field Sales Team. We deliver first-class customer service on behalf of some of the hardware industry's best-known brands with courteous communications, prompt responses and satisfactory resolutions. Impeccable Customer Service is the foundation that our company was built on and remains an imperative component to our continued growth and success. * Full-Time In Office (Flexibility to Work from Home on occasion) * Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * 1 Hour Lunch * Private Office ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Communicate with via inbound/outbound calls, emails and fax correspondence * Provide product pricing, lead times, terms, and freight quotes * Assist with product specific inquiries * Process orders through our internal system then submit to our manufacturing partners for fulfillment * Provide order status, invoices, tracking, and proof of delivery * Assist with credit claims for damaged, defective or missing product * Other duties or tasks as assigned by management One of the many services ELSCO offers to our manufacturers is Trade Show support. As a company we participate in roughly 10 trade shows a year, however our office team only attends 2 shows (Spring/Fall) lasting 4-5 days each and require travel which is paid for by ELSCO. About You: 2+ years' experience working in a role with related experience. Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities at a time. Self-starter, eager to learn and adapt in an ever changing market. Proactive, with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and timely responsiveness. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis on Excel.
