    Job Description

    Parts Sales / Customer Service Representatives work in partnership with our outside sales, service team, and suppliers to grow our business with existing customers, develop and gain new customers and meet/exceed our monthly sales goals. Parts Sales/Customer Services Representatives are challenged to continuously work to increase customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as Inside Sales support, responsible for managing customer calls regarding orders, returns, requests, quotes, price and availability Process and enter orders, and confirm orders via fax, email or phone Ensure accurate daily shipment processing, product scheduling, and shipment confirmations Investigate and respond to customers' requests concerning stock availability, order expediting, pricing, special items, as well as preferred carriers, special packaging and shipping criteria Work with and train shipping and receiving person to assist in processing/receiving orders and shipments, order trucks and follow up on shipments Establish restocking system utilizing Sage and current and anticipated inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels to ensure timely availability of parts and minimize obsolescence Respond to customer inquiries via both phone and e-mail Research and/or validate inquiries to ensure proper parts are quoted Communicate with EMBA Sweden Helpdesk for questions that cannot be answered internally Create quotes, accept purchase orders, convert to orders, facilitate fulfillment with shipping Maintain file of quoted upgrades Communicate with EMBA Sweden regarding lead times, and parts pricing, update Sage Create realistic expectations for customers Convert quotes to USD, and issue to customers Collaborate with other departments within EMBA Machinery Inc. and EMBA AB, to ensure that all customer requirements are met and orders are processed accurately and efficiently Communicate leads and potential sales to outside sales force, to service department for installation and engineering department for upgrades Monitor and research service technicians reports for required parts and/or quotes. Work with service coordinator to develop a system to track required parts Use probing & follow-up skills to successfully increase orders and convert quotes to orders Maintain accurate inventory and participate in annual physical inventory Identify obsolete inventory Performs other duties as assigned to support EMBA's customer base in North America Company Description EMBA develops, manufactures and markets machines for the global corrugated board industry.
