EMD SALES, Inc is the preferred international distributor for ethnic products in the Mid-Atlantic Region. For more than 30 years it has been serving a diverse customer base, delivering to grocers, wholesalers, restaurants, and ethnic establishments. As a single-source distributor, EMD Sales, Inc. has introduced fast-moving products extending beyond the barriers among ethnic groups. Responsibilities - Opening and maintaining new and current accounts in the area assigned: supermarket chains, Independents accounts, wholesalers, etc. - Monitor and manage out of stocks, damages, and credits at the store level, and support large inventories, slow mover items, new items, categories, and soon to expire list - Participate in the implementation of Planograms and setting up new stores - Participate in EMD's Trade Show, Friday's conference call once a week and Sales meeting once a month, and other company events - Work Monday to Friday with some exceptions for holidays and weekends, advancing route schedule for Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year - Follow through on ALL promises to customers and supervisors. - Product knowledge and updating price list, and working with bracket prices and deals provided - Confidentiality with all EMD information and paperwork. - Placing orders on a timely basis - Professionalism with coworkers and customers. - Active participation in: SAMPLING, GRAND OPENING, RESET, AND SETUPS Compensation - Base plus commission, PTO, health insurance, and 401k
