Pop-A-Lock is looking for a skilled and reliable Emergency Roadside Assistance Mechanic to join our team as an Independent Contractor in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to emergency roadside assistance calls throughout the Brooklyn, NY service area

Perform on-site vehicle services including jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockouts

Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers regarding ETA and service status

Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job completed

Ensure all tools, equipment, and service vehicle are properly maintained and road-ready

Uphold Pop-A-Lock's standards for customer service and safety protocols

Requirements:

Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or roadside assistance technician

Strong knowledge of emergency roadside procedures

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Must have reliable transportation and basic tools/equipment for roadside service

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as a contractor
