    EmpathIQ is a small, growing company providing online review generation and monitoring services to the Healthcare industry. The Company is making several key hires in Q1 2021 to expand its management team to enable aggressive growth. This hire will be a key voice joining a dedicated team of exceptional talent that has the company now poised for rapid growth.

    Job Description:

    The Sales Manager will be responsible for both direct sales efforts and growing a sales team. Their primary responsibility will be new revenue generation, but they will be involved in strategic management decisions, providing key market and product insights, and helping plan product feature evolution. They must have the skills to grow and property manage a sales operation and sales team - including meeting monthly sales goals and generating sales reports and projections. Most importantly, they must desire and thrive in a small, collaborative, and fast-paced, TEAM environment that prioritizes everyone’s success and high client satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Grow the company’s revenue by new client acquisition and enterprise client development.
    • Provide detailed information of our services to prospective clients and make compelling pitches about our services competitive advantages
    • Actively sell via phone, email, client meetings, and online pitches
    • Travel to and sell at trade shows and industry conferences, and harvesting robust leads from such events for conversion to sales afterward
    • Develop key strategic industry partnerships that can lead to revenue opportunities
    • Negotiate product pricing and contract clients within Company and management guidelines
    • Construct sales pitches and presentations, guide sales collateral development
    • Curate, maintain and convert a sales funnel and reports to project future revenue with management
    • Focus on client and product services alignment to ensure sold clients are highly satisfied and long term customers
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
    • Communicate thoroughly with the client success team to ensure their successful understanding of new client goals, needs, and promised services.
    • Maintain up to date records of client status, contracts, pricing negotiations, in company-provided CRM (Salesforce)
    • Work with the management team to keep product positioning and pricing current
    • Inform Company management of industry competitors, services, and pricing to keep product current and competitive in the market
    • Plan and grow a sales team working under the sales manager to enable exponential revenue growth
    • Understand sales and marketing key performance metrics to help guide sales and marketing expenditures and ensure a high ROI on those investments.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • 4 or more years of direct sales experience
    • Strong and reliable selling, communication, and negotiation skills
    • Proven experience leading or working on a successful sales team
    • Ideal candidate has experience building and managing a sales team
    • Highly self-motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
    • Familiarity with CRMs, MS Office, Excel, Google Docs, and Gmail
    • Efficient and excellent time management
    • Exceptional relationship management skills
    • Works with a sense of urgency
    • Enjoys working with and for a team’s success
    • BS/BA degree or equivalent
