    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING... The Sales Engineer plays an essential role in the organization and is primarily responsible for providing operational and technical sales support to the field sales team. The qualified candidate works collaboratively with our sales, professional services, customer support, managed services and PMO teams. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, sales skills, product vision, market knowledge and strong written and verbal communications skills.

     

    · Assist in nearly every phase of the sales cycle by providing technical support to the sales team including qualification, requirements gathering, project identification, solution development, business case preparation, technical presentations, and implementation planning.

    · Be the subject matter expert on EMPIST’s products and services for the sales team.

    · Assist in the development of RFP/RFI responses for prospective customers.

    · Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining EMPIST’s solutions and services to customers and prospective customers.

    · Confer with customers and prospects to assess business needs and to determine project requirements.

    · Leverage internal tools such as the tech assessment to determine project scope and level of effort required.

    · Collaborate with sales teams to understand prospective customer requirements and provide sales support throughout the sales cycle.

    · Support the sales enablement and delivery process to raise the technical knowledge and understanding of EMPIST’s products and services for the entire sales team.

    · Adhere to all internal sales processes and procedures to facilitate a smooth sales process.

     

    YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

     

    · Bachelor’s degree

    · 5+ years of relevant work experience

    · Experience in IT Consulting and / or Managed Services

    · Technical sales certifications in major platforms such as Microsoft, Vmware and Cisco

    · Demonstrated ability to position complex technical solutions

    · Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal and presentation

    · Sales Force and Team Work Experience a plus
