    GENERAL PURPOSE: The Onboarding Coordinator plays a pivotal role in welcoming new employees to our organization and ensuring a seamless transition into their roles providing HR support to clients throughout the entire EMPOWER eco-system. This individual will oversee the entire onboarding process, from preparing necessary documentation to coordinating orientation sessions and training programs. The Onboarding Coordinator will work closely with various departments to facilitate a positive onboarding experience that aligns with our company culture and values.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new employees, including preparing offer letters and other documentation.
    • Coordinate orientation sessions and welcome activities to introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to develop personalized onboarding plans for each new employee.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process, which may include assisting the new employees in understanding company benefits, policies, and procedures.
    • Coordinate with the IT department to set up user accounts, email addresses, and access to company systems for new hires.
    • Ensure that new employees have all the necessary equipment, supplies, and workspace arrangements ready on their first day.
    • Coordinate training sessions and development programs to support new employees in acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the onboarding process.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding process to enhance the overall employee experience.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee onboarding activities and documentation.
    • Assist with offboarding procedures as needed, including conducting exit interviews, and processing relevant paperwork.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned and performs objectives as outlined by your manager.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in HR or talent acquisition.
    • Strong understanding of onboarding best practices and techniques.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software applications.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
