We are seeking an **R &D Technician, Catheter **to assist R&D engineers and or teams in developing new medical device protypes and demonstrates work instructions for production transfer. The Technician will contributor to testing and analysis of products, materials, assembly, and processes. This role will provide input into the design development to improve processes qualification efforts.

What you will be doing:

• Builds new devices and prototypes based on engineering designs and /or verbal instructions.
• Creates prototypes for engineers to determine feasibility.
• Supports designed experiments and capability studies, collects documents, and files records on process specifications.
• Collects design documentation and puts together training packets on new processes, materials, and equipment.
• Performs basic troubleshooting on components, subassemblies, manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment with the purpose of finding solutions while documenting all the changes.

What we need:

• 2 + years of related technical experience and a high school degree or GED, and/or technical training and/or certifications(s); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working experience with medical device industry or medical field.
• Experience with performing delicate assembly tasks of small components under a microscope or catheter assembly is highly desired.
• Must be skilled with specific business practices and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail).
• Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices and procedures.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position located in California.
