Opportunity

We are seeking a with previous experience in commercial structures familiar with Florida building codes.

Responsibilities

· Structural design and analysis to applicable codes. Typical structures include residential housing, apartments, hotels, condominiums, hospitals and more.

· Balance innovative, optimized, and standard designs considering constructability and economics.

· Working with other disciplines and designers on the project collaboratively to produce project deliverables.

· Preparation of quality reports and calculation packages as project deliverables.

· Identify, interpret and apply relevant codes and standards to engineering designs.

· Coordinate design process with the project schedule to ensure timely delivery of the design documents.

· Completion of site inspections and condition assessments for existing structures.

· Meet project budgets and deadlines.

Requirements

· A Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering.

· Preferred 3-10+ years of experience in the commercial sector.

· Professional Engineering licensure.

· Proficiency in use of Ram Concepts and Ram Structural.

· Ability to lead execution of structural discipline scope on projects.

· Ability to work on multiple projects

· Good written communication skills.
