    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Under the supervision of the Health, Safety, and Environment Manager, the HSE Advisor will be responsible for assisting and guiding the area management teams with the requirements of ENTREC's Corporate Safety program, the client's safety requirements, OSHA legislation, and DOT regulations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Promote a positive safety culture within the work environment within the assigned area and willing to travel to other sites, sometimes after regular hours.
    • Coach the onsite managers and supervisors to further enhance their safety responsibility performance and leadership role.
    • Coach on-site workers to further enhance their safety responsibility, performance and knowledge.
    • Carry out ENTREC safety program administration activities such as worksite inspections, plan and present monthly safety meetings, manage leading indicator tracker and incident logs, safety document collection, procedure development, and report writing,
    • Manage and monitor transportation compliance such as driver's daily logbooks, trip inspection, and other compliance requirements (Worker Injury Management, etc.).
    • Assist with the development and implementation of internal safety training courses.
    • Conduct routine field and shop inspections. This may include randomly checking equipment operator competency, knowledge, attitude, and safety concerns.
    • Assist and coach area management in performing incident reporting and investigations, safety meetings, job hazard assessment processes, and worker safety education.
    • Provide support services to Operations teams and Health and Safety Department as required. This may include providing safety coverage for other areas during projects or assisting with safety program audits of other area offices.
    • Act as a customer liaison and attend safety, stewardship, and incident meetings
    • Assist with safety training including: conducting new hire orientations, coordination of required training and updates to the Learning Management System.
    • Conduct medium and high risk incident reporting and investigations.
    • Maintain or advise on safety supplies to support operations and meet legislative requirements.
    • Assist with post incident drug and alcohol testing during investigations.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous experience in safety, transportation, or lifting and hoisting, with an understanding of safety system development, investigations, and inspections.
    • Knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations and DOT guidelines.
    • Class C license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
    • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and balance both office and field responsibilities.
    • Ability to maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees while working in a team environment.
    • Strong customer service orientation and ability to contribute as a team player.
    • Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision.
    • Ability to maintain a positive and calm attitude in highly dynamic environments, while maintaining the focus on safety.
    • Recent experience in promoting a positive safety culture, including the promotion of various safety initiatives for a service company.
    • Must hold a valid passport as travel may be required to Canada. Must be willing to travel including overnight stays; as travel will be required to field sites, Colorado and Texas.
    • Experience conducting formal hazard assessments and implementation of controls
    • Working experience with root cause analysis tools such as SCAT (Systematic Cause Analysis Technique)

    ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proof of Bachelor's Degree, Safety Certificate or Diploma
    • Previous experience and knowledge in the rig moving and the crane industry.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Work is performed across Colorado and Wyoming regions; however work is not limited to this area. Transporting jobs can occur 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, under all-weather condition

    Role includes working both in office and field environments.
