    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Our North Dakota location is currently recruiting for a experienced Crane Operator for our Dickinson branch. The Crane Operator is responsible for providing lifting and hoisting services to customers by performing crane setup, pre-operation inspection, rigging, and crane operation. 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Engage in pre-job requirements including proper crane set up,ensuring proper load securement, pre-operation inspection on crane, and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Reviewing rigging work done by Rigger prior to lifting.
    • Perform lifts based on customer need with guidance from the Project/Operations Manager.
    • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork including Field Level Risk Assessment and pre-job paperwork prior to starting job as well as log book following completion of job.
    • Provide mentorship in the operation of the crane equipment to apprentices based on their skill level; train apprentices on proper pre and post job requirements.
    • In critical lift situations such as tandem lifts or near capacity lifts, consult with the Project/Operations Manager about proper job set up and execution; review critical lift specific SOPs.
    • In situations with minimal supervision, arrive at customer site with a basic understanding of what is required for a job as directed by the Project/Operations Manager; use customer instruction as well as previous training and experience to make an assessment of the job based on the type of machine, the load that requires lifting, and the environmental elements involved.
    • Inquire about the weights and dimensions of the load from the customer to ensure full understanding of the load.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proof of NCCCO with TLL endorsement
    • Proof of a Class A license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
    • Experience operating an All-terrain crane and Boom truck.
    • Experience driving a tractor/trailer.
    • Must understand safety procedures and demonstrate good safety consciousness. 

    ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

    • NCCCO LBC Endorsment.
    • Oilfield and rig moving experience 

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Work is performed across Colorado, however work is not limited to this area. Transporting jobs can occur 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, under all-weather condition
