    General Responsibilities:

    The Community Services Program offers a wide range of services to income-eligible community members; ensuring they can pay their bills during difficult financial times, while connecting them to resources to help them transition out of poverty and into self-sufficiency.

    Essential Functions:

    Maintain confidentiality of client/agency information as required by State and Federal laws, appropriate regulations, and professional practice

    Ability to communicate effectively in written and/or verbal form to individuals and/or groups with a clear and concise explanation of EOAC processes and services.

    Must consistently demonstrate and communicate EOAC’s Mission and Vision.

    Must consistently demonstrate excellent customer service with a compassionate attitude.

    Conducts case file and record reviews for compliance and identifies opportunities for improvement or corrective actions to ensure contractual performance expectations are met.

    Develop system to track, trend, and monitor program compliance activities.

    Creates, implements and monitors standard operating procedures. Develops information documents, process mapping, flow charts, reports, trainings, and presentations. Provides training and technical assistance.

    Submit weekly/monthly quality assurance reports to the Director. Providing consistent feedback to management and employees regarding areas that need improvement.

    Interpret laws and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and agency contracts. Report potential risks, non-compliance or alleged violations to Director.

    Assist the Director in day to day program operations; in data collection for grant compliance and reporting; in the enhancement of community assistance and outreach programs.

    Assists the Director with State and Federal monitoring and Agency audits; in the collection and organization of document request; in the development of responses to monitor/audit reports; and in the management, development, and implementation of continuous improvement plans for programmatic processes and systems.

    Reviews contracts, vendor agreements, and other documents to ensure compliance.

    Submit monthly report to the Director summarizing monitoring activities.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Competencies:

    Must have good organizational skills and proven ability to work within timelines to meet demands. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks.

    Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills

    Participate in team activities, mandatory meetings and trainings, and meet the service delivery standards set forth by the Community Services Program and EOAC.

    Ability to work independently with flexibility within a team environment; ability and willingness to work as a team member to support EOAC’s mission and goals.

    Maintain excellent professional relationships with vendors and community partners.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment with ambient lighting, and climate control.

    This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Prolonged sitting.

    This job works with clients who are in high stress situations; ability to de-escalate tense situations is necessary.

    Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear customers in-person, and over-the-phone.

    The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

    This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. This position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required. This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds for files and computer printouts.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent and at least two (2) years of college level coursework in business, social services, or related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. May consider combination of college credits and relevant work experience.

    Must be able to pass Criminal History check.

    A valid Texas driver’s license or ID card is required.

    Must be able to pass pre-placement physical assessment.

    Travel:

    In-State travel as required for training and client visits. Minimal Nationwide travel.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bilingual (Spanish)

    Other Duties:

    Perform all other duties as deemed necessary.

    Work Schedule:

    This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
