    Job Description: Scheduler for Service and Small Projects

    Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduler for Service and Small Projects. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling service appointments and small projects efficiently and effectively. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely delivery of services while maximizing resource utilization and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Scheduling Coordination: Manage the scheduling of service appointments and small projects according to customer needs, technician availability, and project timelines.

    Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to schedule appointments, confirm details, and provide updates on service timelines. Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the scheduling process.

    Resource Allocation: Coordinate with technicians and project managers to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal use of manpower and equipment.

    Prioritization: Evaluate and prioritize service requests and project tasks based on urgency, customer requirements, and company policies.

    Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments, project timelines, customer interactions, and service history. Update scheduling systems and databases promptly.

    Problem Solving: Address scheduling conflicts, delays, and unforeseen issues promptly and effectively. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve problems and minimize disruptions.

    Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in scheduling efficiency, customer communication, and resource allocation. Implement best practices to enhance overall service delivery.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in scheduling, preferably in a service-oriented or project management environment.

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

    Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in scheduling, project management, or a related field is a plus.

    Previous experience in a similar role or industry is highly desirable.
