We’ve teamed up with a leading power infrastructure engineering and services firm and they're seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to lead high-voltage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. This role will manage complex substation, protection & controls (P&C), and transmission & distribution (T&D) line projects from concept through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle for EPC projects, including safety, scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
Oversee project designs, Bill of Materials (BOM), equipment specifications, and construction requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project milestones.
Lead the preparation of project proposals, schedules, and material lists.
Provide regular project performance updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct engineering work reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Travel to client sites and vendor facilities as needed to align on project goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Or, in lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience in utility design, project management, or utility engineering.
Proven experience managing EPC Substation, Protection & Controls (P&C), or Transmission & Distribution (T&D) line projects.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for cost/schedule reporting.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects.
Skilled communicator capable of leading cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders.
Knowledge of utility engineering practices, including substation/transmission design and critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
