Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for an Engineering Checker who will be responsible for checking pipe spool fabrication drawings for content and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, perform work accurately and thoroughly, pay close attention to minute details of projects and tasks, remain organized, and follow systematic methods of performing tasks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Familiarity with client project scope and specifications.
• Check pipe spool drawings used for fabrication by shop against client drawings, scope, and specifications for accuracy and manufacturability, mark-up errors, and re-check corrections made by drafter before being released to shop for fabrication.
• Familiar with and utilize department standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Understand shop methods used in the fabrication of pipe spools.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Experience: 3 years of experience in the pipe fabrication field.

Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Experience with AutoCad a plus
