We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Designer to be a part of the EPS Group team. This individual should bring passion, artistry, story-telling as well as positive energy & enthusiasm to the group. Candidates should have strong design ideas and a willingness to work in our most innovative department creating impactful designs.
Our projects are diverse and multi-faceted including: residential community, mixed-use retail, medical / healthcare, education/campus master planning, hospitality/resort, entertainment, parks, and public and urban space markets working collaboratively with other firm disciplines and consultants.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with a multi-disciplinary team on a broad range of projects
Possess strong design and graphic skills to generate high quality deliverables
Participate in the production of preliminary design and presentation materials
Ability to assemble plan packages, from schematic to construction drawings with
technical competence
Strong leadership, design, communication, organization, and graphic skills and enjoy
working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Candidates will be required to transition between multiple aspects of a project from
concept to construction drawings including planting, hardscape, irrigation coordination, construction detailing, construction document package development, construction administration, and coordination with other disciplines.
Candidates should have 0-3 years of experience and be proficient in planning and landscape architectural design and demonstrate a high degree of the following skills:
Demonstrated skills in design and production, construction documents and detailing, creativity and communication
Using Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Sketchup & other design software to create details, design documents & construction documents
Understanding of construction documentation including layout, grading and site detailing
Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Planning or equivalent work experience
