CNC MACHINIST

EPTAM Precision Micro-Machining is a world-class manufacturer of medical device components, producing the most intricate and micro-miniature parts in the market today. Our products are used to save lives and we are passionate about bringing our best to making them.
We are looking for talented MACHINISTS to join the team in our ultra-clean, temperature-controlled facility in Lakeville, MN. We have positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts:
1st: M-F, 6am-2:30pm
2nd: M-Th, 2:15pm-12:45am
In this job, you will:
- Perform setups, operate and support the maintenance of machines
- Complete parts inspections throughout the machining process, including regular use of microscope
- Identify and communicate issues that may impact the manufacturing schedule, assist with corrective action as requested
- Comply with operating and quality standards, identify potential deviations, notify quality team, and assist with root cause analysis as requested
To be qualified for this position, you must have:
- Associates degree, vocational training, or equivalent work experience
- 2 - 5+ years’ experience with CNC milling, Swiss turning, Fanuc, Mazak or Haas machines
- Strong knowledge of material properties and machining
- Able to read and understand blueprints and use basic hand measurement tools
- Able to effectively use Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Machinist experience in a custom medical device manufacturing company and/or ISO-regulated manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
