THE POSITION
EQ’s Shareowner Services Representative position is a critically important financial services role, acting as the company’s “brand ambassador” by being the front-line point of contact with our customers.
Responsibilities include answering incoming customer phone calls inquiring about their investment accounts in a professional environment.
Customer inquiries will be related but not limited to numerous investment products such as transfer agent processing, employee and executive long- term incentive programs, lost property, and proxy services.
Inquiries can be complex in nature and require the Shareowner Services Representative to be knowledgeable in a multitude of financial services areas and able to confidently address customer questions.
The Shareowner Services Representative is a non-exempt role eligible for overtime compensation based on business needs.
Advancement opportunities exist within Shareowner Services or EQ.
Must be authorized to work locally and without restriction in the country where the job, for which you are applying, is based.

Acceptance and flexibility to different and new ways of doing things, a willingness to modify one’s preferred way of doing things, able to switch gears throughout the day to assist with meeting critical cut-off times or high-volume spikes
Proficiency with leveraging multi-screen workstations, using multiple software applications simultaneously, and proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams)

Business needs and customer inquiries require Shareowner Services Representatives to be flexible regarding both schedule and daily duties as both may change with little notice.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND
High school diploma or GED
Call center, retail or other public-facing work experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND
Knowledge of banking principles, operations and processes
Previous Securities Operations experience or related experience preferred such as: fiduciary, finance, financial, financial service, payment, payment management solution, personal banker, securities, security, treasury
Previous work experience and familiarity within a financial services firm
Associate or Bachelor degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work
Experience in a heightened information security risk management and compliance environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
Sitting at a provided workstation most of the work shift
Utilizing multiple computer monitors, a keyboard and a mouse most of the work shift
Wearing a headset and speaking into an attached microphone most of the work shift
This position will not be a remote position long-term.
Overtime hours are required based on business needs with advance notice.
