EQ3 is an innovative leader in the design of furniture and accessories, with stores in Canada and the United States, in addition to a growing online presence. We are looking for a VISUAL COORDINATOR to join our growing retail team. This is a PART-TIME position located at EQ3 SONO COLLECTION location NORWALK, CONNECTICUT. The visual coordinator will work closely with the store manager to maximize results through visual merchandising and make visually inspiring floor plans by interpreting company guidelines and effectively translating them into the store.

THE SKILLS YOU'LL NEED:

• Certificate or diploma in a field related to design or at least 2 years of merchandising experience
• Proficiency in operating systems including sales terminal and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
• Ability to read and understand floor plans
• Detail-oriented approach to all aspects of the job
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders to perform work at elevated heights
• Comfortable using tools such as a drill, hammer, level, etc. Electrical / wiring skills are an asset
• Ability to patch walls and paint
• Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Carry out seasonal plans to create stores that are visually inspiring
• Follow and execute visual directives from Head Office
• Drive sales through efficient merchandising
• Verify and understand floor model transfers and stock adjustments
• Responsible for daily checking of RIR, Sharepoint, WPM and emails for updates
• Work with the store manager and regional visual coordinator to adjust the floor plan to drive sales based on data and good reasoning
• Follow current corporate guidelines and trends in visual merchandising
• Replenish stock as needed
• Coordinate staff support when needed through the store manager
• Help with store renovations and special projects as needed
• Collaborate with the assistant manager to supervise the maintenance of the sales floor
• Assist with all aspects of pricing showroom (regular tagging, sales, price reductions, etc
• Set up promotional signage on time
• Communicate necessary ideas / adjustments to regional visual coordinator
