ER Holding Registered Nurse

Location: Worcester, MA

Rate: Up to $2225.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1

Shift: 12-hour shifts; days and nights available; every other weekend/holiday required

Contract: 13 weeks

Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

• 2+ years of telemetry experience required
• Massachusetts RN license required
• ER, observation, or overflow/surge experience preferred
• Must be able to pass medication and telemetry exams during orientation; one attempt is allowed for each
• Must be available to start 11/10/2026
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local and travel candidates accepted

Certifications:

• BLS required
• ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Care for adult and geriatric patients in an ER surge/overflow setting
• Provide care for telemetry and observation patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
• Start and maintain IVs and perform phlebotomy
• Manage dysrhythmias and administer medications
• Care for patients requiring respiratory support and chest tubes
• Provide care involving spinal precautions, PCA pumps, and epidurals
• Float within the ED to care for overflow and surge patients
• Complete required medication and telemetry testing during orientation
• Chart using Epic
