Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)
Facility: Holyoke Medical Center – Holyoke, MA 01040

Position Overview:
J Edward Staffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join the dedicated team at Holyoke Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled RN to provide quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment.

Would like 4x12s (with OT after 49 hours) but will consider 3x12s. ??

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Massachusetts RN License (unencumbered)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for individuals with acute and urgent medical needs
• Triage patients based on severity of illness or injury
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform procedures per hospital protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, lab results, and overall condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Respond to medical emergencies and perform life-saving interventions as necessary
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
