WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a digital savvy storyteller that knows the social media trends before they’re trendy, who stops the endless scrolling with jaw-dropping visuals and whose words slay just as hard to break up the monotony of feeds everywhere. If you’re an attention seeker who is ready to translate your artistic skills to a high growth brand, we’re here to be your muse. Reporting into the Vice President of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for cultivating a content strategy that includes a constant flow of engaging video and still content for our social media feed that drives engagement and an expansive following.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Ideate, plan and execute daily social content from end-to-end including concepting, copywriting, recording, photographing and video editing for stories and posts.
- Curate and cater a wide breadth of static and video content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to create a consistent brand voice throughout.
- Make recommendations for how Erewhon can level up its content game.
- Continuously assess and recommend new and innovative ways for Erewhon to build buzz through rich storytelling across a variety of mediums.
- Be the catalyst for building external enthusiasm behind the Erewhon brand.
- Managing the day-to-day planning of new content with guidance from marketing team
- Creating 6-10 pieces of original content in a week
- Creating content that is on-brand, on-strategy, leverages current platform trends and is true to Erewhon’s style, voice and aesthetics
- Working in collaboration with VP of Marketing to engage with the community and provide insights on content performance
- Being proactive and quick to take initiative -- can observe a trend and quickly assess if the brand should take part
- Actively attending team meetings, presenting your work and ideas
- Being available to commute for shoots a minimum of 2 times per week
- Plan, concept, shoot, edit and appear in content for TikTok, including trend research and music selection, in collaboration with the marketing and social media manager.
- Keep up with the latest social media trends such as news, memes, formats, tracks, etc. and find relevant ways for the brand to participate in or leverage them through content

- Deep knowledge of social landscape and passion for creating content for consumer brands
- Knowledgeable and up-to-date in different social media trends and best practices
- Proven ability to create engaging short form content for TikTok and Instagram
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple content projects and deadlines
- Proven ability to concept, shoot and edit engaging short form content for TikTok and Reels
- Working in collaboration with marketing and social media manager to engage with the community and provide insights on content performance
- Being proactive and quick to take initiative -- can observe a trend and quickly assess if the brand should take part
- Proficient in the Adobe Suite is a plus
- Being available to commute for shoots at our stores a minimum of 2 times per week and having access to the equipment to shoot TikToks (i.e. lighting, camera stands, etc.) or be able to access
- MUST have experience with Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro
- InDesign and Audition experience preferred
