Here’s the updated job description with Acumatica included clearly and naturally:
ERP Administrator
Location: On-site Type: Full-time, In-house
About the Role
We're looking for an ERP Administrator to manage and improve our ERP system so it fits how we actually work — not the other way around. You’ll work directly with internal teams to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and help us make smart decisions faster. This is a hands-on role with real impact across production, inventory, purchasing, and finance.
Our current ERP is Acumatica. Experience with Acumatica is a plus, but not required — what matters most is your ability to understand business needs and turn them into efficient, practical ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day performance and reliability of the ERP system (Acumatica)
Customize ERP workflows, forms, and reports to match our internal operations
Work closely with teams in manufacturing, supply chain, and admin to identify bottlenecks and fix them using ERP tools
Manage user roles, permissions, and data integrity
Train and support staff in ERP use; write guides and standard processes where helpful
Coordinate with vendors or consultants as needed for upgrades or support
Set up dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that make our data more useful
Monitor integrations with other systems (e.g., accounting, shipping) and troubleshoot issues
Stay ahead of updates and make sure the system grows with our needs
What We’re Looking For
Positive motivated team player eager to be a key contributor on our team
3+ years experience managing an ERP system in a manufacturing or similar environment
Familiar with common ERP platforms — Acumatica experience strongly preferred, but not required
Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows — BOMs, work orders, inventory control, purchasing
Solid grasp of data structure, user roles, permissions, and security practices
Comfortable with SQL and/or scripting in an ERP environment
Able to translate operational needs into clean system setups
Strong communication skills — you can talk to both shop floor staff and leadership
Nice to Have
Experience with ERP implementation or major migrations
Familiarity with ISO or other quality management systems
Experience with connecting ERP to accounting software or shipping platforms
