    Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting an ERP Specialist for a growing manufacturing company in Rochester, NY.

    Job Summary:

    The ERP Specialist will manage all aspects of the SAGE X3 system as well as be part of the deployment and implementation team. This role requires a strong knowledge of the various business needs in a manufacturing environment including Sales, Scheduling, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance. The position reports directly to the IT Manager locally, as well as the IT Manager internationally and interacts with all levels of the organization.

     

    Implementation Responsibilities:

    · Understand site business requirements

    · Work with the SAGE Central Team in the implementation of SAGE X3, propose the evolution of the Core Model and work with the team to analyze change requests

    · Support data preparation and migration

    · Follow-up on specific developments when needed

    · Animate workshops for acceptance tests

    · Conduct on-site training for end users and create training materials for specific user interfaces

     

     

    General Responsibilities:

    · Create, maintain and develop dashboards, forms, SSRS reports, BAQs, and other customizations to maximize utilization and productivity of the ERP system to meet the needs of the organization.

    · Test and implement new SAGE modules at other sites

    · Provide daily ERP support for system users in Honeoye Falls and Longwood.

    · Participate in ad-hoc or special projects.

    · Provide system training as needed to support a high level of competency across the organization.

    · Assist with developing and managing data exchanges with ERP system and other software systems.

     

     

    Required Skills and Experience:

    · At least three years experience and expertise with an ERP system.

    · BS in Computer Science or related IT field.

    · Experience in implementation and project management of systems in a manufacturing environment.

    · Understanding of common manufacturing processes and workflows.

    · Strong knowledge of SQL and SSRS and/or Crystal reporting tools.

    · Ability to understand the needs of various users in different departments, including Manufacturing, Sales, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Management.

    · Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    · Experience in multi-site ERP management

     

     

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    · Experience with Visual Basic.

    · General IT support experience.

    · Experience in training and developing training materials

    · Ability to work solo and as part of a team

  • Compensation
    $90,000-$100,000 per year
