Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization at the start of a new phase of technology transformation.
Our operational and SaaS enterprise application systems are all hosted in Azure. The systems were recently ported from a traditional data center. We constantly need to maintain, enhance, and modernize these systems to use[HA1] more native Azure services and more modern application development techniques.
To support this work we are seeking an Azure Devops to support our Saas Application engineers with our deployment pipelines and help manage our Github and Jira systems. This role will work with the engineering team and management to maintain and improve our CI/CD systems, this role may also require writing code in Github Actions, as well as in our codebase to simplify code movement and security. Optionally, participating in the development of new code for our application could be available as well. Understanding of Agile software development practices is required.
This role also supports our IT systems and out SysAdmin roles as a secondary to aid in keeping systems and servers operational. Some knowledge of Azure networking and servers is required.
The role is entirely remote working with hours spanning US and UK timezones (Must be able to work in EST time zones).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has specialized in the Devops role while developing an understanding of the Azure IT landscape.
Given the remote working model, we need someone who is highly motivated, a self-starter, well organized and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of colleagues, all of whom will be working remotely around the world.
Most importantly, we are seeking a keen problem solver with a good analytical mind and good communication skills.
